In September of 2015, Eastern Idaho Public Health entered into a contractual agreement with Idaho Department of Health & Welfare which supports the establishment, maintenance, and execution of powers of the Regional Behavioral Health Board under Idaho Statutes 39-3132, 39-3135, and 39-3136.

The Region 7 Behavioral Health Board is looking for input from individuals in the community on what you think are the gaps and needs in the region regarding behavioral health (mental health and substance abuse). If you have any input, ideas, or topics for community education, please email Mallory Johnson at mjohnson@eiph.idaho.gov.

The Region 7 Behavioral Health Board serves the following ten counties: Bonneville, Bingham, Butte, Clark, Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, Madison, and Teton.
Our Mission: To improve our systems of care within Region 7 for those affected by behavioral health issues. We will do this by evaluating gaps in services, encouraging collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring monitoring of critical statistics, and developing strategic plans based on the information.
Our Vision: To be a valued partner that promotes the health and quality of life for our communities and its members. To provide leadership and devotion of resources that focuses on prevention, treatment, recovery, and overall wellbeing of people with behavioral health problems.
