Free Flu Clinics to Be Held Across Eastern Idaho
Wednesday November 12, 2025Eastern Idaho – Eastern Idaho Public Health will be holding several free flu clinics for uninsured or under insured individuals across Eastern Idaho during the month of November.
The CDC reports that during the 2024–2025 flu season (September 29, 2024–August 30, 2025), influenza activity reached a high level of severity — the most serious since the 2017–2018 season. This classification is based on increased numbers of flu-related doctor visits, hospitalizations, and deaths, highlighting the significant impact of influenza during this period.
As the flu and cold season begins, vaccination is important for protecting yourself and your loved ones from illness. Flu viruses are constantly changing, and flu vaccines may be updated from one season to the next to protect against the viruses that research suggests will be common this year. While some people who get vaccinated still get sick, flu vaccination has been shown in several studies to reduce severity of illness.
Please note: Foreign travel, COVID, and other immunizations are not included in the free clinic. We will be billing insurance and Medicaid. Please bring your immunization card with you to the clinic. Walk-ins are welcome. Clinics will be held at each area’s EIPH office location. More details are listed below:
