Remember Suicide Awareness Month on September 26th 

Rigby, Idaho – On Thursday, September 26th the Hope Squad of Rigby High School, Community Suicide Prevention and Eastern Idaho Public Health are joining together to present the “Wings of Hope” Community Suicide Awareness and Memorial Walk. The event will be held at 6:00pm at Rigby South Park (355 Centennial Lane). 

Community members including individuals and families are invited to join together to remember the loved ones who have died by suicide, and process through the grief with others who understand. This walk is also an opportunity to recognize, reach out, and support those in need. 

More than 466 Idaho residents died by suicide in 2023. In the wake of those numbers, the loved ones are left behind. 

Come and walk to support those left behind, remember those who have died by suicide, and learn about resources to help those in need.
