Pfizer is a type of COVID-19 booster shot

 

  • Authorized for anyone 6 months or older
  • Number of doses: 2 doses, 21 days apart
  • How’s it given: Shot in the muscle of the upper arm. For children < 5 years, given in the thigh

Moderna is a type of COVID-19 vaccine
  • Authorized for anyone 6 months or older
  • Number of doses: 2 doses, 28 days apart
  • How’s it given: Shot in the muscle of the upper arm. For children < 5 years, given in the thigh

Novavax is a type of COVID-19 vaccine
  • Authorized for anyone 12 years of age and older
  • Number of shots: 2 shots, 21 days apart

Johnson and Johnson
  • Authorized for anyone 18 years of age and older
  • Number of shots: 1 shot
  • How’s it given: Shot in the muscle of the upper arm
