Families in Eastern Idaho play a vital role in shaping the future of our community, and when they are supported with connection, knowledge, and resources, children are better able to grow, learn, and succeed.

Eastern Idaho Public Health recognizes that all community members have a role in ensuring children have positive experiences, and families have the resources they need when they need them, well before they are in a crisis. The theme of this year’s awareness and impact campaign that we lead in partnership with our national network of state chapters, is “Powered by Hope, Strengthened by Prevention.”
Child abuse and neglect are preventable, and all communities benefit when children and families are well supported. By focusing on prevention, connection, and community support, we can help ensure families have what they need to thrive.
