Due to the increased number of enforcement actions taken from the lack of having an accredited food protection manager [Idaho Food Code (Section 2-102.12)], Eastern Idaho Public Health is now mandating that this requirement be met (via proof of certificate of completion from a nationally accredited food safety examination) prior to conducting a pre-opening inspection of a food establishment.
